.NET Conf, a free, three-day, virtual developer event co-organized by the .NET community and Microsoft, is happening from 10th-12th of November. We're one of the proud sponsors and we'll be doing a pi-top demo, giving away prizes and much more. Keep reading to learn how to take part!
What to expect at .NET Conf 2020?
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the conference and the launch of .NET 5.0. Over the course of these three days, there is a variety of live sessions that feature speakers from the community and .NET teams. Sessions will be streaming all day and night between day two and day three of the conference, so everyone can get involved regardless of your time zone.
There will be a Virtual Attendee Party starting at 16:30 (PT) / 00:30 (UTC) on the 10th where you can participate in the technical treasure hunt and answer trivia questions, all with the potential to win some awesome prizes, like a pi-top [4] Complete with Sensor Foundation Kit, FHD Touch Display & Bluetooth Keyboard!
As part of the Virtual Attendee Party, Jeff Fritz will sit down with pi-top's Director of Software Engineering and Product Owner Further, Mark Hardwick, to talk about how we're collaborating with the .NET and the Microsoft team to make the .NET libraries accessible from a pi-top [4] and how the .NET community can use our platform in their home or industry projects.

We've been working closely with Microsoft on bringing pi-top and .NET together and we're excited to announce that you can now program pi-top [4] with .NET.
Join us on the 12th at 07:30 (PT) / 15:30 (UCT) to see how we're using .NET, the pi-top Robotics Kit (available in December), and Microsoft Teams to showcase the remote Computer Science Class of the future. A COVID-19 resistant remote first approach that allows collaboration, coding, testing debugging and rich interactions involving data, video and Azure cloud services.
